Totally renovated in 2001/2002, Wasque Watch is a lovely
and historic Victorian home, noted on maps of Martha’s
Vineyard from the turn of the century on.
The unique tower suite is the highest point
on Chappy. Used by the Coast Guard in World War II, the
360 degree breathtaking tower views extend to Nantucket in
the East and the Atlantic to the West.

From the first floor to the east, you can see Pocha
Pond and Nantucket Sound, to the South there is a spectacular
view of Katama Bay, the barrier beach and the Atlantic
Ocean. Five acres of secluded grassy fields and trees face the
house, two adjoining cabins, and a private Har-Tru tennis court.
A short walk brings you to the private bay beach.
Land Bank territory is directly across the dirt road from the house,
with immediate access to the Chappaquiddick walking trail system
and paths to Pocha Pond. The entrance to the Wasque Ocean Beach
(Trustees of Reservations) is a half mile walk, in the midst of
acres of pristine ocean beaches with the best fishing in the
Eastern Seaboard.
Perfect for family reunions or several families, the home sleeps
19 people and includes a contemporary kitchen, new
master bedroom and bath with gas stove, and all new bathrooms.

1st Floor
The master bedroom and bath is on the first floor
with a Great room and wood-burning stove, dining room, powder room
adjoining the kitchen and a large family entertainment room in back.
Huge deck with expansive ocean views provide outdoor entertainment
space. Great Room living room with opening to new gourmet kitchen
and attached dining room and breakfast room (seats 21 for dinner)
with built-in stereo system make for easy entertainment. Expansive
decks encourage outdoor living.
2nd Floor
On the second floor, an octagonal king-bed room
is joined by two smaller bedrooms and a full bath.
3rd Floor
The third floor houses the two-story octagonal tower
bedroom (Queen bed), a half bath, and two additional bedrooms (one
Queen overlooking the water and a single bedroom).
4th Floor
The fourth floor is the tower study with spectacular
360° surround views.
Cabins
There are two cabins. One, recently renovated, has
a King size bed and adjoining full bath. The second has two rooms,
with two single beds in each. Two new outdoor showers complement
the outdoor living.
 Located
on Chappaquiddick, Wasque Watch is only four miles from Edgartown,
combining the seclusion and quiet of Chappy with the sophisticated
fine dining and shopping in Edgartown.
Rental is $15,000/week in July and August.
